JOB SUMMARY: Performs CT, MRI, and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities include patient preparation and positioning, operating imaging equipment, selecting appropriate techniques, obtaining quality diagnostic images, maintaining records, documenting procedures, collaborating with radiologists and providers, ensuring radiation safety, performing equipment quality control and maintenance, providing patient education, assisting with staff and student training, participating in call rotation with a 20-minute response time, and other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field. Oregon OBMI licensure in Radiography, CT, and MRI. ARRT certification in Radiography, CT, and MRI. BLS required.
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years in a hospital or clinical setting. Strong communication, organizational, teamwork, and patient care skills. Must lift up to 50 lbs.
